Information that we collect and how we use it
Type of information
How we use it
Your recipient's e-mail address:

To enable us to send your message to your recipient. We will never send spam to that person, nor we will tolerate anyone else doing it.

Your name (optional): To enable us to personalize messages that you send.

Standard log information about your computer, such as your type of browser, IP (Internet Protocol) address, and host: We may use it to optimize how our site displays on your computer. We may also use this information in the general administration of our web site and its policies as specified in the Terms of Service. We will append your computer's IP (Internet Protocol) address and host to messages that you send as a way to deter, investigate, and prosecute any crime or violation of our Terms of Service.

Cookie information:

A cookie is a text file stored on your computer's hard drive that can be used to identify your computer and enable us to remember you and what you previously entered in a form when you return to our site. Internet users are often very concerned about the privacy and security implications of cookies (*see below), so we use cookies only as a convenience for you so that our server can recognize your computer to save you the bother of re-entering your name and handle when you use our site in the future. If you do not want our server to automatically recognize your computer, do not check the box next to "Remember me." We do not use cookies to collect private information from any user. In summary, we use cookies only as a convenience to you to help save you time. We do not use cookie data in any malicious way.

*According to an independent source (PC World magazine, April 2006, page 140), a cookie is generally not a threat to your privacy because it typically exchanges information only with the site that placed it.

Session information: Session information is somewhat similar to that in cookies, but it is stored on the server instead of your computer, which enhances its security (reference: PHP for the World Wide Web by Larry Ullman, Second Edition, page 261). If you are familiar with web programming, you know that the HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP, which you will likely recognize as the prefix http://) is a stateless technology that does not remember data as a user moves from page to page in a multi-page web site. Programmers routinely use session information to overcome this limitation and transmit data from page to page. We use session data only to help our server remember what you entered. We do not use session data in any malicious way.

We will NOT intentionally rent, sell, share, trade, or otherwise transfer any of this information about you to unaffiliated third parties without your consent unless that information is necessary to prevent an emergency, to prevent or investigate activities that are illegal or suspected to be illegal, to protect our rights or the rights of a third party, or if we are compelled to do so in response to a court order, subpoena, or other legal action. We will transfer this information if AnonyMUST.com is acquired by or merged with another company, but we will notify you before your information is transferred if the new privacy policy differs from this one in the way it protects your personal information.

We may sometimes post links to other web sites on AnonyMUST.com. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to our Privacy Policy: If we significantly change how we treat your personal information, we will notify you by e-mail or we will place a prominent notice on this site.
